Accessibility statement
This statement covers taxley.co.uk: the public pages and the pages you use to prepare and file a return.
What standard does Taxley aim for?
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at level AA. Our accessibility checks cover form labels, headings, visible focus, colour contrast and zoom.
How did we check it?
- In July 2026 we reviewed the page templates then in public use, including the filing pages you see after signing in, for form labels, headings, focus, dialogs, colour contrast and zoom, and fixed what we found.
- On 1 November 2026 we re-checked the main public pages with Lighthouse (which uses the axe-core rules) and fixed the problems it reported on the home page and in the cookie banner.
What isn't fully covered?
- The documents Taxley generates were not part of our accessibility review: the iXBRL accounts and computation it sends, which follow the formats HMRC and Companies House require, and the PDF copies of your return, accounts and computation.
- Card payments use Stripe's payment form, which Stripe runs.
- Automated tools don't find every problem, and we haven't yet had the site tested by disabled users.
How do I report a problem?
If something on Taxley is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email support@taxley.co.uk and tell us the page and what went wrong. You can also use the contact page.
When was this statement written?
We wrote this statement on 1 November 2026, following a re-check of the main public pages.
