Terms of service
What it covers. The agreement between you and Taxley UK LLP when you create an account or use Taxley. It explains that Taxley is self-service software and not tax or accountancy advice, what you are responsible for, that we file on your instruction with no guarantee that HMRC or Companies House will accept a return, and how fees, refunds and cancellation work.
Who it applies to. Everyone who creates an account or uses Taxley, including a director filing for their own company.
-
Privacy policy
What it covers. What personal data we collect and why, our lawful bases under the UK GDPR, who we share it with (HMRC and Companies House when you file, Stripe for payments and Hostinger for hosting), how we protect it and how long we keep it, and your rights, including exporting or deleting your data from your account.
Who it applies to. Everyone whose personal data we handle: account holders, people who contact us and visitors to this website.

Cookie notice
What it covers. The cookies we set and why. They are the strictly necessary ones that keep you signed in and protect forms, plus Google Analytics cookies that load only if you accept them. Stripe may set cookies when you pay, and we do not use advertising or social-media trackers.
Who it applies to. Everyone who visits taxley.co.uk.

Practice terms
What it covers. The terms for a Taxley practice account: your team, your authority to act for each client company, the client-approval tool, prepaid filing credits, refunds, and our data-processing terms where we act as your processor. They sit alongside the Terms of service and Privacy policy.
Who it applies to. Accountants, tax agents and firms who use a practice account to prepare and file returns for client companies.
How do I contact Taxley about legal or privacy matters?
For data-protection questions, and to ask to use your rights over your personal data, email hello@taxley.co.uk. We normally respond within one month. You can export or delete your data yourself at any time from the My data page in your account, subject to the statutory retention of filed records.
For questions about the terms, or if something has gone wrong, email support@taxley.co.uk or use the contact form, and we will try to put it right. We are a software provider, so we cannot give tax advice.
If you remain concerned about how we handle your personal data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
